Since when can't you open a bank account in Thailand ?
I know it's harder now , as I've had a few , a Bangkok Bank account that I left dormant for decades was closed as I was using my Thai farmers ( now Kasikorn ) account which was closed because of inactivity ( back in UK for a couple of COVID years). I opened up a new account with Bangkok Bank last year though , no agents involved. No long term visa , in fact no visa of any sort. No insurance purchased.
This is correct. I stopped using their VIP ( forgot the name) account when they stopped paying 3% interest on up to £3k years ago. Last month reopened the same account just for the inclusive car breakdown and travel insurance and within weeks the monthly fee has gone up significantly!
I didn't know they had changed to Aviva and they only insured for up to four months.
I will probably cancel after my months holiday in November.
That's what the Americans have done to the Philippines and what they will do to Thailand with this current invasion of the disciples of the clueless you tubers/ vloggers.
perhaps the bad teeth remark did it as that doesn't affect your quality of life, so why mention it ? It's irrelevant .
Then you say more Thai girls wear braces compared to English girls which suggests that most Thai girls start off with bad teeth but Thai girls , just like Americans all get them fixed up. Can't you see the contradiction in those two statements. ?
Your statement suggests those brace wearing , veneer laden Thais/ Americans are just more vain and conceited. Rather have down to earth people around me than fake, superficial people.
