it's live yes, but effectively inoperable/incompatible since it only allows a 3 day window in advance.

yes but the departure date must be within the time you'd initially be stamped in for, 59 days from arrival.

since you are on the initial visa you don't have to leave once your work permit is cancelled. As mentioned you can stay as long as the entry stamp grants you.
