I believe they do, but its a draw as to what they get for a hotel, some are getting basic hotels, and some are getting 5* luxury hotels. So they can take a chance on getting the 5* for free, or end up in a dive hotel. or pay for their own SQ and pick which hotel they want (note that most quarantine hotels give discounts for Thai Nationals)
exactly. some people have been worried that when they get their visa it has a valid date, but they think that the expiry date is the last date they can stay in Thailand. However it is actually the last day you have to enter thailand. the visa starts when you go through immigration at BKK.
Good luck on your travels. Thailand is beautiful, i'm loving it here. however it is very quiet!
if you plan to apply for a visa remember it is only valid for entry for 90 days from issue date. So if you plan to come late July you can’t apply now or it won’t be valid when you want to come!
How long do you want to stay? If you are from a country that can come visa exempt you can stay for 45 initial days with a 30 day extension (no charge for the visa exemption but 1900b for the extension)
Or get a tourist visa 60+30 days which cost aprox $50usd, plus 1900b for the 30 day extension.
Well the asq certificate means nothing. I have never been asked for mine. So I guess unless after quarantine you’re heading straight to the airport to fly to another city that has a mandatory quarantine then I’d say open the window/balcony the certificate does nothing for you!
