Yeah. I know a guy who learnt thai so much he couldn’t anymore. He had to start learning Japanese.

Try for Kasikorn. I find Bangkok Bank far more beurocratic. You have to spend an hour and sign 20 papers just to update a phone number.

Does Kasikorn Bank in Thailand allow PayID?

isn’t PayID the Australian brand name of a service similar to PromptPay in Thailand. Both services are country specific. They don’t include cross border payments.

you may have trouble opening an account on the tourist visa at some banks. General consensus and personal experience is that Kasikorn is the best bank to do this. I did it at the jomtien branch many years ago.
