I don't know what is the process of this and therefore I'm asking here. I've been hearing conflicting advice as well

thank you for your help! This is exactly what I'm asking about. I heard that in order to get a single-entry visa to become multi-entry I simply apply at the airport on my way out. What are the processes to extend my 90 day into a year-long one?

yes that is correct. I'm trying to see if there is a way I can save some money by not having to get a new visa and simply extend my current one and get it to become multi entry.

Non O's used to be year-long, weren't they? I am not sure why validity is so short now
