Hello everyone. I was told that my non-O visa needs to be changed to the F visa by my employer. Does anyone have any experience with getting the F visa? It seems to be quite rare. Where should I do the visa run? The validity of the type F visa is only 3 months, while I already have a non-O that lasts for 11 more months, what will happen to my non-O when I get an F? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion emphasizes that holding a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai national allows the individual to legally work with a work permit in Thailand. Several comments advise against switching to an F visa as it is less advantageous and suggest that the Non-O visa is a more powerful and flexible option for employment.

As Tod is clarified already, I just add my two cents: refuse any employer attempt to change your NON-O based on marriage to Thai National! You hold most advanced type of visa, the more powerful is only residence permit and citizenship ! You can engage in any non restricted job and get WP on your visa. I done this myself many times for both MOL and BOI with zero problem
