I can easily tell you that in Bangkok I went to work for 6 months in Indonesia back in 2020 and when I came back in 2021 they gave me hell just cause I had one covid extension in my passport. They allow me in after checking my history which showed I basically was coming most times from European countries after I was done with work. I do think going through Phuket or Chiangmai is way easier for you.
