I have used the long term stay every time even though i don't need to, i still average 6 seconds transfer not 24 hours. It takes only 6 seconds because the transfer is done within Thailand so there is no FTT coding. But if i needed it i would just ask the bank.
I contacted Bangkok ( i am in Phuket ) head office to clarify the ruling and was told that if my tambon/district was not locked down to do 90 day/visas as normal. My friends wife contacted Phuket imm and was told the same thing. I did my 90 day yesterday and it was busy. My understanding is that imm want to reduce the number of people who would be attending imm on the 31st July.
Cabibi Rein Just to clarify, i have never done a TM30 and was told that as i am the owner i don't need to do one. I was inquiring recently when i renewed my visa as to whether i needed to do one or not. The answer was not. The actual owner does not live in Thailand so could not do one anyway.
Phuket immigration told me that because i have a long term lease, 30+ years and my name/lease is registered on the back of the Chanote then i am regarded as the owner/posessor.
Additional info, i have not been out of the country or to another province since my visa renewal last year, maybe that is why i have not been asked for a TM30?
I have a lease contract which is registered on the back of the land title. The owner is my ex wife, not seen or talked to her for over 10 years. She does not live in Thailand. Did my 90 day last week and TM30 was not mentioned, visa due for renewal next week which is why i am a bit concerned.
