Exactly the same as me I scanned in everything for the first application & just print it off. Four new pictures & bank letter in the morning then to immigration. It takes about 45 minutes which I’m told is longer than when applying for retirement but it’s hardly inconvenient for me.

I draw ฿1900 out of my extension pot account & ask them to update the book.

I hand the updated book in at Immo & sometimes they copy it for the application pack & sometimes they don’t. Never been refused although I guess this could be individual Immo office interpretation

I guess it depends on your immigration office.

Udon Thani haven’t been interested on my return from either domestic or international trips if I’m returning to the same address

Udon Thani still asks for a hand drawn map to the house. (Well they do for me anyway😬)

You have to check in for international departures 3 hours before so when you’ve done it go straight through security & then immigration.

You should still be on the 15th so no overstay

My first year I was dead chuffed with an intricate Google Map print out showing the main road & squiggly little sois to the house. I then printed the directions in English then got a friend to translate into Thai for me.

Proudly presented it at Udon Immo & they took one look & said no good must draw by hand 🤨.

They gave me a piece of paper & a pencil so I drew a line & wrote Immo at one end & house at the other. Apparently that was fine 🙄

On Wise there is a Reason for Transfer section with one being Long Term Stay in Thailand. Helpfully the reasons are not in alphabetical order but the last time I looked it was the very last reason. Selecting this gives the FTT Code at your bank shown on the statement.

The only drawback is it takes 24 hours to reach your bank as opposed to a few seconds with other reasons
