Is the "workpermit" you mention an actual workpermit in the form of this blue book and is valid for a year?
Or a granted permission to work when you are send out by a foreign company to a conference/business meeting or to lecture .. or to do a certain short term job that Thai can not do? Do you get a workpermit blue book then also? If not then that might be the confusion?
You can go Samui or any other immigration office. You apply for extension. Pay the 1900tbh. They will deny/not approve since you already had extension and will give you 7 days to leave Thailand. = 60+30+7 =97 max 🌸
Go KL .. since KL-Surat flight are back with Airasia few times a,week, and small airport of arrival might be less hassle and also India-KL good route. Good luck hun 😊
No actual need for tourist visa when staying 59 days only. You can just arrive without a visa and will receive an exemption stamp for 30 days at border or airport. (Assuming your British?)
Make sure you have a return flight when you board and extend your entry stamp at Immigration office at Samui before your first 30 days expire (1900TBH-50£).
With this you receive an extra 30 days.
Though if you change your mind and want to stay longer you can not and have to exit after 60 days in this case.
When you decide to get a tourist visa in England (valid for 60 days) then you can stretch it to 90 by extending it at Immigration (anywhere in Thailand)
she says she meets all the requirements mentioned on the website so I guess she has a Hongkong Medical certificate since she is HK resident and apllying there. Its all about a 1 year rental agreement, apparently she got told last time she was in the consulate to bring that in. including a utility bill or even copy of a land deed. Even the consulate says it was just a formality she could not apply apparently without!
