I have a 3 month single entry visa. I know I have to extend after 60 days in samui. After 90 days can I apply to extend again in samui or do I need to leave the country? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the extension options for their 3-month single entry tourist visa in Thailand. Responses clarified that the initial 60-day stay can be extended once for an additional 30 days, after which the individual must leave the country as another extension will not be granted.

You need to understand the validity of a single entry tourist visa which is 3 months from the date it's issued <- meaning you have 3 months to ENTER thailand.

When you enter the country you will get stamped in for 60 days like everyone on a tourist visa does.

You can extend that 60 day entry ONCE for 30 days at the immigration office then you are done and need to leave the country to get a new visa or enter on a new entry stamp.

You can go Samui or any other immigration office. You apply for extension. Pay the 1900tbh. They will deny/not approve since you already had extension and will give you 7 days to leave Thailand. = 60+30+7 =97 max ๐ŸŒธ

I guess you have a Single Entry Tourist Visa. You got 60 day on entry and you can apply once for a 30 day Extension of Stay and then you leave the country.
