Go KL .. since KL-Surat flight are back with Airasia few times a,week, and small airport of arrival might be less hassle and also India-KL good route. Good luck hun 😊

Why dont you catch a flight to a neighbouring country that borders thailand, get a visa there. Then head into thailand via land border or air?

If you don't have PR in India, or an Indian passport, you can't geta tourist visa from India

Thailand embassy has out sourced their business to VFS global. Please do a google search for vfs global Thailand visa. You would need to visit their office on Delhi or Mumbai.
