And this is where the insurance will become a burden. Can you insure for just the period of time you are in Thailand? And to meet the financial terms in the second year extension you will either have to deposit 800k or continue to deposit 65k + per month whether in Thailand or at home, am I correct?

I currently have 5m of cover and a lot of other benefits, however I forsake outpatient for a 20% discount. I am in the country now so the new regs don’t apply to me but if they start moving the goalposts I can see me eventually needing outpatient and losing that discount. Other than that it’s only right people should have insurance, and not only retirees.

Just use an agent, they will pick you up get your account opened and drop you home for 3000 baht, saves all the Fing around.

I can clearly see yours does say DBS, I never saw that before or heard of it. I did mine in person before EVisa as I knew it was coming and potential teething problems like this is why I did that.

I just took my pic now, but it looks the same as the last time I looked, I have never heard of DBS before.

The financial requirement is clearly one or the other, but you met that so I don`t know why it wasn`t accepted. ACRO is the recognised police check.

Sorry I can see on the website ACRO and the financial requirement as either 65k or 800k. I`m not sure your reading the correct information.
