Just returned to Don Mueang from Siem Reap. I am the holder of a Non O-A visa which is due to expire tomorrow 21st March. Following the information of others I had already downloaded the AOT app, registered and filled out the required information which presented me with a QR code. Went straight through the thermal scanning and the next stage after showing the QR code. Was stamped in for a year and wasn’t asked for insurance although I did have it with me just in case.

@Justin ******
, the O/P carries insurance for the visa type he has

It is not for the new insurance requirements OR anything else .

The insurance I have is for health for 12 months, not the kind you will need for travel. Travel insurance is relatively cheap, I would think $50 or less per trip.
