was not referring to you, all the use google or stupid responses that do not actually answer but trying to be witty and trying to put people down for asking a question on a site designed for asking questions, and yes it’s not a direct Thai visa question but who cares many people on this site have experience with it so what’s it hurting. And really almost every post gets the same idiots with the same old tired response.

I have never been stopped entry but twice had them tell me to change passports not only in Thailand several different countries immigration staff told me this

been doing this since 2010 most of the time just gone with regular tourists on arrivals but due to COVID and longer stays went with Non-O the country I was working Iraq could not use the embassy for obvious safety reasons so I called UAE explained situation they allowed me to do there despite not having a work permit took less then a week and can find reasonable priced hotels might be worth a call to Dubai office to see if they will do same.
