TLDR : Answer Summary
The person is inquiring about the possibility of renewing their marriage visa while working abroad, specifically if they can do it through a foreign Thai embassy or if they must be in Thailand. A comment clarifies that they likely have an 'extension of stay' based on marriage rather than a visa and emphasizes that if the stamp runs out while they are outside Thailand, they will be unable to renew it from abroad.
I doubt you have a marriage "visa" and believe you really have an "extension of stay" based on marriage to a thai from the immigration office. LOOK in your passport and read the stamp.
IF that's the case and you're out of the country when that stamp runs out you're done and either get a NEW visa from a thai consulate in the country you're in OR you come back and start the process all over again.
then it is exactly like I said :/ I'd take the copies of the marriage documents with you and IF you're comin' back after that extension expires, see if you can get a 90 day single entry Non-O based on marriage from the thai consulate in the country you're in before you wing your way back here.
