The app is really simple and easier than online. You have to have a phone set to Thailand as the default country if you want to use the app. Which means my wife does it on her phone no problem. I can't see yet alone download the app on my Australian set up phone.

I don't want to add any more confusion to the equation 555 after 4 trips to Oz she still asks me why she can come through the automated but I can't go through autogates in Thailand.

I am Australian and I got my 1 year ME non O to follow Thai spouse in Ho Chi Minh City. No financials needed. I hear they are still not asking for financials. Why not go there?

Keep your receipt also. It might be needed for verifying that you had them officially translated at that office. Just depends on where you are getting the visa/permission to stay.
