The app is really simple and easier than online. You have to have a phone set to Thailand as the default country if you want to use the app. Which means my wife does it on her phone no problem. I can't see yet alone download the app on my Australian set up phone.

 no problem. It confused me for a while also. I have two phones and could have set one to Thailand, but I got my wife to do it instead because is is all in Thai anyway.

 yes. For the reasons I said earlier. The TM30 report online is for Thai people to report aliens in their residence

Sorry, let me rephrase :) I could find the app, and download, and register. However, on the screen it only shows the 90 day report button, there is no TM30 one.

The phone app version (iPhone & Android) is easier to use than the desktop PC online version.

How to use tutorial at YouTube link below. The video is kind of long and rambling. Skip to @22:00 and @44:00 for the more concise instructions.

The online system is for hotel operators. You have to be registered with the system to use it.
