It is commonly referred to as a retirement visa as it is used to stay here based on the fact that you qualify for retirement (age, financials, etc). You can't get if you are 40 for example. So it is safe to use that term as long as you know what the actual class of visa that you need is. Ie Non OA applied outside or O visa which gets extended. Everyone gets up in arms about it...but it is so commonly used that if you go to immigration or visa office and ask for a retirement visa.......they will know exactly what you want. Whether it is the official term or not....it is a retirement visa....
Sabai lodge is a hotel. In which case they would have registered you. For private residence it is different as the landlord or yourself have to submit the TM30. Could be a fine in your future...supposed to be Landlord....but then the Landlord doesn't need the extension does he..!!
By card do you mean arrival card?? Yes this is the TM30 registration of address form. They will only ask for it if making a report or extesnsion. Everyone says.....Oh the Landlord needs to do that.....but the Landlord is not making a visa extension are they.....better to do it ourselves I reckon....I move around a lot....so my Lanlord would not be able to keep up..!!
Yes I have done the same. But then they have never held the 24hr thing against me before like they are doing now to a lot of people in some offices. Anyways I will be going in to check next week....so lets see and I will report.
