Last simple question guys, if I arrive in Thailand on 27th, does that count as my first day or the 28th ?

Well the first 4 months I will be living in Hua Hin, so could border run to Ban Pu Nam Ron in Myanmar, but also have inlaw family in NE Isaan Kalasin , so could use the friendship bridge with Loas ..... plus I will need to return to UK at least twice in the first year.... so I guess the 12 months would suit me best....... thank you guys.

The financial requirement isn't an issue as I already have the funds in a Thai bank.
