Good morning guys, hope you are all staying safe. I have a 2 part Q.
1.When I am due to renew my retirement extension, what is the minimum passport validity ?
2. If the answers to Q1 result in me having to renew my passport, due to the time it takes to process, how do I 90 day report without my passport ?
For the purpose of my Q let's imagine everything is normal. (I understand immigration reporting rules during these COVID19 times)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The minimum passport validity for renewing a retirement extension in Thailand is generally at least 1 year or until your passport's expiration date, whichever comes first. If you need to renew your passport before your extension renewal, you should keep your current passport with you, as you are required to have your passport on you while in Thailand. Additionally, the comments clarify that immigration reporting rules remain the same regardless of current events like COVID-19.
