I was quite surprised with that new information. But then I guess it's within the discretion of the embassy officials..let's see if it will work for me next year. Will definitely keep you you posted.
Okay I just had an information about this. Apparently according to one of the Siam legal staff. They assisted a same sex couple from the US. They apparently applied a non-o based on marriage in Thai embassy in Washington DC and got the visa. So they advised me to apply in a Thai embassy in a country where same sex marriage /partnership is recognized like in most parts of Europe. Will try to apply in Thai embassy in Bern next year when were off to visit our family in Switzerland and check if it works.😬
Tod Daniels however is it better to use another port of entry next time someone try to come back just to be safe and have better chance of getting in right?
