Outside source told me there is more to his story that we don't know and that this didn't even count as a denial since there more to the story...

Apparently there is more to his story. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this.

He need to reach Thai Visa Centre. I don't see any other way of him getting back in unless he get tourist visa in Vientiane.

It's the Thai - Laos Friendship Bridge. I've cross that bridge 20+ times, never heard of Saphan Mitaphap. You are the first ever case of denial entry in that border. You made a post August 31 in Bangkok about the IO questioning you. What is your history after that?

I live in Udon Thani and I've never heard of Saphan Mitaphap. I've google the name and nothing. I cross Nong Khai border regularly.

If I'm right about my previous comment, you need to enter via Bangkok with fast track service using Thai Visa Centre agent. It will cost you around 8k baht to enter safely.

Travis never elaborated on which border he was denied entry from. He asked for people with connections at Nong Khai border but this doesn't mean it's where he got denied entry. Also, he didn't mention the writing in Thai in his passport. If there was a note saying to not let him in, no border or airport would have allowed him in without a visa. I'm assuming that he was flag, knew it, but didn't read what was written in his passport before bouncing.

He didn't mention that he was denied in Nong Khai. I'm waiting for the confirmation before asking further questions. He would be the first case of denied entry in Nong Khai in history. It would set a precedent. But he didn't elaborate further on this.
