so, now you are in Thailand with a 60 day exemption, and you were made to pay 2000 upon entry to Thailand from Malaysia, right? Did they charge you the 2000 in Thailand? on your way out of Thailand, or on your way in? Did you overstay your first 30 days?

you need to explain better for anybody to give you an answer...what visa are you on? Did it expire, and you want a new visa? Do you want to extend your current visa? You don't pay to exit, unless you have an overstay of 4 days (x500/day)

You might be entering on a VOA...Visa on arrival. This visa is usually valid for 15 days, and costs 2000B
