Hi, a couple of months ago I got my non o based on marriage. Since then, I have had to renew my passport, as old one was full of stamps and visa. The old passport, containg the non o, has been cancelled but, is in my hands. I am due to return to Thailand shortly. Royal Thai consulate in my country cannot transfer visa from old to new passport. Would it be a problem showing both passports to the IO in bkk? Would I need to transfer visa in CW? Thanks in advance for your help

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat with a Non-O visa based on marriage is concerned about entering Thailand after renewing their passport, as the old passport containing the visa is cancelled but still in their possession. The Royal Thai consulate is unable to transfer the visa to the new passport. Community members advise that it's acceptable to carry both the old and new passports when presenting them to Thai Immigration.

No problem to use both passports. There is nobody who can tear out a page of the old passport and staple into the new passport on a legal way. So you have to carry both passports.

Carry BOTH passports and show as needed to Thai Immigration.
