Evening group. Has anyone had issues with the 65,000 Thai Baht monthly deposit method to renew your retirement visa? I have my Retirement Visa and have since been depositing over 65k baht into my thai bank account since having my Visa.

Has anyone had issue with renewing the retirement visa with this method at Phuket immigration?

Non O visa marriage applicant 😢 Skip the 40k income documents. Just came back from Chaengwattana Immigration and they’ve confirmed they are only accepting the 400,000 THB deposit for Non-O Marriage extensions/renewals now.

Doesn't matter what the latest article says—the officers at the desk have the final word.

*take a look at the photo and the officer specifically highlighted that to me before asking me to leave and come back with 400k baht deposit *

What I have :

- Thailand company employment letter

- tax pnd 91 form

- tax Tawi 50 form

- bank statement proof I have a Thai company crediting salary into Thai bank every month > 40k baht income

Hi

I have a “non-immigrant O” extension of stay based on retirement. I have been renewing via an agent every year at a cost of about 17000 Baht. I think the doors are closing on agents depositing and withdrawing 800,000 in the banks. Every month I deposit more than 65000 into Bangkok bank and it shows as “Foreign T/T”.

My question is: Can I use the statements showing those monthly deposits to renew my “visa” myself?

Soon I will be applying for the 90-Day Visa from the US, then when in Thailand extending the Visa to 12 months. Is there a website that shows definitively the steps to do so. and what documentation is required by the immigration department in Thailand?

OK so I am seeing advantages of doing a Non O visa then getting extended for 1 year. How do you extend for another year afterwards?

Hi, a further question about seasoning of funds for a retirement visa: What happens if you leave Thailand before the three month period after the extension has elapsed? Immigration would be unable to verify that you kept 800k in your account for the required 3 months. Does your extension get cancelled?

Has anyone experienced having their bank account transfered an amount that completes the required 12kUSD less than 3 months before applying? Any issues? (thinking on applying from Vietnam or HK)
