I'm sorry but just to be clear.

The 90 day non-o is the visa based on retirement.

You then do 1 yr extensions off that original visa.

A 1yr visa is an OA and only obtained in your home country.

Two different things and different requirements.

@Mar ****
yes you are on an extension.

The original non-o visa was 90 days. And yes that allows the money to season for 60 days in the bank.

All should go well if money was there.

what concerns me is his comment of pension income etc.

Did not answer whether he had the 800k in a bank in Thailand at the time of application.

As we know UK does not endorse income.

So the question I will ask:

Did you have 800k in the bank for 2 months prior to application?

3 months after approval?

And never dropped below 400k?

If so you should have no problem doing it yourself, as long as it's back to 800k again 2 months before application again.

Also check your stamp to be sure it was obtained at your local office.

Otherwise will need the agent again.

sorry but completely wrong.

The primary applicant has to deposit 800k in Thai account.

A "trailing" spouse can apply from your home country for a 90 non-o dependant visa based on retirement.

(Once the primary has their visa.)

"Visiting family living in Thailand "

Then you both enter with a non-o and extend for 1yr.

So in short:

1 gets non-o based on retirement 800k money

1 gets non-o dependant no funds needed.

Check with your local embassy to be sure they offer it.

SEA embassies no longer offer it.

For the purpose of a tourist visa, it's no big deal.

Has no effect on you, they only want to to know where they will stay.

They could also just use a hotel booking.

@John *********
you just have to prove you have the money at your home country and then when you enter transfer it.

You are able to get Non-o dependant visa based on your husbands non-b with endorsement from his employment.

This does not allow you to work in or from Thailand.

What you do in your bedroom is your business and don't discuss it on public forums.

You cannot legally or register for roads.

Bring it in parts and reassemble and ride it, off road, your property...
