A great source of infomation is the Thai govt website It has a list of all visas available.,conditions needed to apply and who they are best suited for It can be a little tricky to navigation at first but one found it let's you see what may be the best option for you

non o marriage 90 day visa on the visa it states non immigrant o but I got it based on my marriage to a Thai national

Still working my way around the rules But loving being here

hi I have no o marriage and it has been extended to 1 year more For me it was a breeze as long as you have followed the rules

Two days later immigration turned up at my house to check I did live in it and strangely asked my neighbour if I drink much and make a noise Apart from that and 1900bht it was fine

Get in ASAP as they will give you a temporary pass and an appointment to return to see if your application is accepted

Ask if you need to do your 90day check in

Some say yes some say no but it can be an issue Sounds complicated but I got through it so it can't be to hard

Went like a dream In out and passport stamped within 30mins No bank book or anything required as had previously seen evidence of resistance and funds when first enquired

Did it with my wife but with correct paperwork could have done it alone

Free Apart from 300bht for second atm card If not married take a Thai friend with account at same bank

Hi Matt I am married to a Thai and have recently moved over here. I got a 90 day marriage visa which I will extend in Thailand (processing now) To get the visa I needed proof of finances. Marriage, some where to stay They also ask about validity of relationship But everything is well presented on the Thai e visa Web site If I could navigate it it can't be that hard
