I’ve thought of that but one scam in trade of another? Banks make money lending money. What’s the scam? They both provide a service. And they charge for it. A taxi driver trying to not use a meter and charge 3x the price , deceiving people is a scam. Bernie Madoff with people’s $ was a scam. Sam Bankman Fried was a scam
it has to be at that level 2 months prior to extension and 2 or 3 months after. Not fall below ~ $10k USD (~$400k TB)for about 7 months a year. So basically $10k USD has sit doing not a thing

months . Idk how sitting in a Thai bank helps their economy besides that of banks block investing.
Thanks for all the good advice. I talked with an agent in Hua Hin and she explained how things work. No need to surrender my passport she said. I wasn’t very comfortable with that scenario. Just on the off chance I’d have to go home and it was a weekend or holiday and couldn’t get my passport and to my instincts it just didn’t seem right so I asked here. Thanks for the help everyone!
thanks for the advice. I’ve asked other agents and none of them asked to hold my passport until the funding was met with my money. Also, i hate tying up my money like that anywhere. I liken that to putting $50 on a Starbucks card and all you want is a $4 Americano. Use my money interest free to make money. 🤷🏽♂️ I don’t understand why they’d want my money sitting in one bank as opposed to spending it in the overall economy.
I’ve been talking to a Pacific Cross agent. He said the cover emergency, accidents, and pre-existing. I’m looking at the Maxima + up to their best Ultimate + plan. James Long is the agent I’m talking with. I’m still skeptical since it’s seems so affordable and covers pre-existing
If there is enough money to sustain the woman you care about it seems paying a lawyer for a will to make sure she is taken care of would be a part of that sustainability plan
