MFA does not deal with reentries. That is also immigration. So they may ask again.

immigration may ask you upon reentry or extension. No one knows. My guess is that for “soft” visas, they will.

because it is so new. But they will once things settle down. Lots changing in Thai government as you know. I think they’ll wait for the right time to lodge a complaint.

Exactly this. In PH, Chinese gangs started to kidnap people. This put an end to that visa very quickly once the media blew it up.

The flight and arrival date seems to be just a left over from other visa applications. They dont really check or scruitinize this.

I think the attraction is lack of 90 day reporting and just less agent and immigration involvement. It’s just simpler and less paperwork. Having said that, we will have to wait and see how it will work out.
