So im going to attempt a extention on Wednesday. As im going back to work overseas on Oct 15th so does not make sense to travel back to Canada quarintine for 14 days then fly to Kazakhstan.

So I got a letter from Canadian embassy to give i have copies of passport pages, TM 6, kaza work visa, landlords id, rental contract, emails from work and Canadian embassey. Ive made 3 copies of each. Ive filled out 2 TM 7 forms. Just need to get photos.

Now i live in Bang Kapi so where do I go and will I need anything else?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the requirements and procedures for extending their visa in Thailand, as they plan to return to work overseas soon. They mention having various documents ready for submission, including a letter from the Canadian embassy, passport copies, online applications, and more. There are comments discussing the difficulties others have faced in obtaining similar letters, the necessary steps for applying for an extension, and specific locations for processing these requests. Some users offer thoughts on the validity of their documents and the expectation of receiving a temporary 'under consideration' stamp during the extension process.

you bought a tourist visa from a thai consulate in another country BEFORE you came here and when you arrived you were stamped in for 60 days RIGHT?

you shouldn't have a problem getting the 30 day embassy request extension.

Remember though it's a TWO step process, you apply for the extension pay the 1900baht turn in your application and you will get an "under consideration" stamp in your passport telling you when you come back and get the rest of the extension (up to Oct 26th).

I tried three times to get a letter. I received this today.

The Government of Canada continues to advise Canadians abroad to return to Canada. The Embassy of Canada doesn’t issue visa extension letters for tourists to remain in Thailand as there are many commercial flights available to return to Canada.

As you mention a cancelled flight from Manila, please note that you may be eligible for the Government of Canada’s COVID-19 emergency loan. Further information regarding this program can be found here:
