No, mine were corn sized at largest and not single bites.

I recently left Nai yang beach area with 50+ bites over 3 days. I’m not usually eaten in Thailand and was most surprised. I visited the beach near the airport for 2 days (no bites) before moving to the opposite end of the beach to another hotel and a different area of the beach. (The sun beds area)

Same details - red, blistered - some were very itchy, some not. My bites were in groups of 2 - 6.

in lines.

I checked the bed for bed bugs and found nothing.

The chemist said it was sand fleas.

After leaving the area they disappeared over 12 days. Weirdly, the last day I stayed in the room instead of going to the beach - I got another 10 bites. There was sand residue in the room.

exactly ….no risk until caught - then it’s a huge mistake that will take time and money to fix!

it’s not the airport but the airlines and your choices that are the problem. Given that you need to wait for your bags and clear immigration I think you will be very lucky to make the next checkin on time.

Personally, I’d definitely travel with only hand luggage and try for my boarding pass airside. Given that you only have two hours I’d definitely avoid having to go through immigration.

The airlines will take no responsibility if your connecting flight is missed - as you have chosen this route.

@Tim ******
why can’t you checkin airside?

Transfers pick up boarding passes. Have you asked the airline?

@Kuan *****
test in SG? As a transit passenger why would she?

In Thailand - she will be met by her mother - her guardian.

@Wenneth ***
- that is not correct. She is not considered a ‘minor’ by airline standards.

Hotel - yes, fully agree

as a transit passenger SG protocols aren’t of concern. You are out of date with your information as SG has relaxed the stricter rules of the omnicrom variant.
