I've been asked by many airlines for proof of onward travel. At least three times I was given a waiver to sign releasing them of liability if I am not allowed entry into the country.

Since this usually works out I don't buy an onward ticket and am prepared to buy the cheapest possible throw away ticket ($30?) while at the airport check in.

David Broadfoot if I could figure out how to do it online I would do it, but if it’s a big headache I’d rather avoid the stress. Too much stress lately...

my landlord is in China so he can’t just swing by immigration

David Broadfoot correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s only my problem if I need a residency certificate, right?

Thanks, I suspect I’ll get it on Friday. I’ll keep it if I do. Not sure I want to rush back to immigration every time I re-enter the country though.

I went through the agent so they are doing it for me, and I go back Friday to get my residency cert.

I just won’t do another tm30, the landlord is supposed to do it anyway

I will need 30 day extensions.. but I guess they don’t check for those.. I guess no more motorbike purchasing for awhile

can it be done online? If not maybe I will just not do it and cross my fingers I don’t need another residence certificate

Today I had to do the tm30 myself as a tenant, I paid the landlord fine. When I leave the country and come back (to the same apartment) do I need to do the tm30 again the day I arrive?
