Is it necessary for my townhouse owner in Chiang Mai to file a TM30 every time I return to the country?

Hi, I am going to be moving to a townhouse (in chiang mai) owned by an individual owner, instead of my usual large condo complex. The condo always files a full tm30 every time i return in the country. The broker/agent said that this is not necessary, and that the owner is responsible for the first tm30 filing, and then i will simply need to update my white receipt slip every time I come back in the country, and that there would be no more involvement from the owner.

I'm posting because that seems like it might be different from what I have read on these groups. I thought the owner had to file a whole new tm30 on every return. I would like to hear your opinion if that is an adequate process (just updating the slip) to keep immigration happy so I can still get my Res Certs and Drivers Licenses.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on the TM30 filing process for their move to a townhouse in Chiang Mai. They mention differences in procedure between their previous condo, which filed a TM30 upon every return, and the new arrangement where the owner reportedly only needs to file it once. They are concerned about whether simply updating the receipt slip upon returning is sufficient for immigration purposes, especially for obtaining Residence Certificates and Driver's Licenses.
