I just got my ED visa for hand 2 hand combat school in Vientiane, but it has this weird label and stamp. Does anyone know what it means?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The label on your ED visa indicates the name of the school you're enrolled in, which is Jet's Hand to Hand Combat School located in Chiang Mai.

yep, you could fly out and back if you had to. I'd go to the school and see if they can expedite the paperwork any faster.

already extended and done 2 by land. How about flying in if needed, is that doable?

The option would be to apply for a 30 day extension at the immigration office (depending on IF you haven't done that already) or go to the border bounce out and back in to get a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp (providing you haven't gotten TWO so far by land this year) or go to a thai consulate and get a single entry tourist visa.

Was hoping that by going there tomorrow, I would get it sorted before needing to leave by the 26tg August. And what the options are if they still haven’t processed it!

most people, enroll in the school, pay the tuition, and it takes between 2 and 4 weeks to get the paperwork back from the MOE so you can to go a thai consulate in another country and get a 90 day single entry Non-ED visa.
