did you read his post?? Sounds like he wants the “easiest” option. Stay forever, no border runs etc. I’m aware of the other options…
“I’m 45 and want to move to Thailand, what’s the easiest visa, want to stay forever in Thailand. Is moving there difficult, I don’t want to do border runs every month. Can someone please advise.”
yep! There’s just more to see & do in Thailand, more variety in food, it’s more developed than Costa Rica, the roads are paved (unlike Costa Rica), it’s safer and less corrupt, it’s more affordable. I could go on and on…
Pura Vida! 🤙 I’ve been to Costa Rica several times and thought about living there, until I went to Thailand. Only upside to Costa Rica is it’s a shorter flight from the US. Everything about Thailand is better than Costa Rica…in my opinion.
I live in San Francisco. That’s impressive you were able to see all that and you were just visiting. I’m not doubting you saw all that, but you’re just perpetuating the negative reputation that’s in the media. You mentioned downtown, exactly! The crime and homeless is concentrated DOWNTOWN, like any major City. But the media makes it sound like the entire city is like downtown, which it isn’t.
☝️This is a great tip! I wish everyone knew this, because it’s part of the reason the lines move slow. Because people are looking for their boarding pass to show the immigration officer…
. Unless there’s more to the story? Why would a group member even know where you live to send the police to your house? Are they a Thai citizen? Seems like something the Thai police would just ignore, if it’s just a threat on Facebook 🤷♂️
