that’s pretty quick. I plan to come to Thailand on visa exemption in a couple of weeks, get the extension and then leave in late September to get a proper TR visa.

Penang is nearby and I might as well stay there a few weeks to a month to get to know the island, so I wouldn’t be in a hurry. I just wanted to confirm that I would be able to apply for the visa in Penang, as it is the main reason for going there. Thanks.

They extended it before a few times and the last application date is July, 25th. I wonder if that's the last one...
