That's good to know.. Maybe it's changed since I used it. I always do a wire transfer especially when it's regarding a retirement Visa. I had a lot of problems with wise and Bangkok Bank. They would not certify the funds came from overseas.
Phil Jones That's still not going to work.. It has to show this on the receiving Bank statement. The reason doesn't show up on the receiving Bank side... That's just an internal thing on wise..
It's best to do a wire transfer if you need it for a retirement visa. Wise uses local bank's to do the transfer..i think there's a way to request them to show it as an international transfer. I got burned by it since the bank didn't accept it as a transfer from a foreign source for Visa purpose because it showed as a local transfer.
quoting biased books is not reality. I've lived in India and the US most of my life.. You quoting books is laughable since I'm living the experience instead of quoting things i don't know about. Give it a rest.. Your colonial mentality is showing... calling India a poor country. I suggest you Stop commenting on things you know nothing about.
If you go to many cities in the USA.. The homelessness and poverty is unimaginable in a so called wealthy country.. It's the same in India.. There's a huge population of well off middle class and wealthy people. The poor in India have a large social welfare structure in many States unlike in the USA where it's minimal and no one can afford an apartment. Quoting some website is not the reality on the ground.
it's clearly not grey since you're trying not to get caught and kicked out. You're violating the spirit of the rules by clearly abusing them. You're clearly not intending to be a tourist but rather a migrant... So if you intend to live there then you need a proper visa.
