Basically it's the school fee plus a variable changeover fee from official groups inside Thailand that assist with this type of thing whether you are new or doing another year. Because it's exactly the same process less the travel and they are doing the same for everyone.

I would suggest your school should have everything under control. There should be no need for an extension letter.

actually I never print it. I just copy the calendar appointments from the day I do it to two weeks from the new date. Simple as.

I have 10 years as a volunteer. I also looked after 170 volunteers for two foundations all over Thailand for 3 years. It was 50-60 hours a week.

as always "easy", is not cheap. But considering other options are 50k to 70k, for longer term stays and no worries for 5 or 10 years many people are going this way. Nothing secret here.

I do it 14 days early.

Did it myself Sunday, Approved Monday.

Used Chrome and incognito browser on my phone, because security certificate has expired.

I have informed immigration of the error, but not holding my breath on it getting fixed.

Did 5 last Monday before the certificate expired using Opera browser on the PC. 3 hours for approval.
