TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has recently arrived in Thailand on a 90-day Non-O visa to visit their Thai/British daughter and is currently in ASQ. They aim to stay until the end of January and are inquiring about the visa extension process, which includes a standard 90-day stay and a possible 60-day extension, followed by a potential 30-day extension that may not be granted. Try non-O for guardian. If your name show at children’s birthday of certificated. If BoC not issued in Thailand embassy need to certify relationships between you and children

Guys visiting children, need to go on site click on hands picture, and go through the application.

It can be frustrating downloading documents, pictures, bank statements etc .

I got my visa back in 72 hours , I was up and running to go for flights .

Embassy will issue your visa/Coe/flight if qualify

Fit to fly, insurance, asq, covid test, etc is your own responsibility

Hope this information helps

If you want to stay longer, there are ways, especially if you have the right paperwork.

Hi David, I’m in the same cat as you and am also wishing to visit my daughter. Would you be able to send me an email explaining the process you went through to get there, as I’m finding it a bit confusing as to what needs doing first etc. Kind regards Dave.

it all depends which consulate you apply through. What’s right for London May be different for Madrid.

David in the same position as you just arrived in ASQ based on having a British/Thai son on Non O visa. You are correct there about the process. Do you know once the single entry is expired can you apply for a new Non O in thailand and stay longer without leaving the country? Thanks.

I am still trying to see what my best options are when the time comes,

My plan is 90+60 then a border run into Laos in January if open.

Things could change 3 months down the line (will ask the question closer to the time )

As it seems nobody has a solid answer at this moment in time

I hope someone can guide me through the process so I can try and plan ahead.

I normally come here on a 60 day tourist visa which is more than enough

But wanting to catchup on lost time with partner and daughter so 6 months stay is my target .

All the best.
