Sounds like you didn’t even read. I’ve been on a Non-B for 15 years. But hey, nice try dodging the ED topic and the document checks at the border. What do you have to say about it?
Correct. I hope some of these 'wannabes' eventually realize that stricter rules and checks can actually lead to longer visa lifespans, rather than the entire program being canceled after a few years as has happened before.
15 years on a Non-B, checked twice. Does that mean checks are impossible? Am I supposed to bow down to you just because you’ve been here for 10? 😂😏 Never heard of ED visas being checked at the border with all your amazing experience? Please stop repeating the same broken record about anonymity or not. You have zero argument and treat your long-term luck like it's some kind of immigration immunity.
Anonymous participant 448 You don't know how immigration works here in Thailand and most likely in any country around the world. Your visa (QR code format for you) is a permission to stay longer than the usual tourist on exemption. That's not a red carpet pass and immunity.
Are you suggesting that all visa holders have never been checked at the border simply because their visa was previously approved by the MFA? How is the DTV any different? Immigration doesn't need to have or not have specific information; they're checking suspicious or random profiles. That's their job.
Agreed, that's a random check. The issue is that some people still believe holding a DTV protects them from any further checks immigration is already conducting on other visa holders.
Anonymous participant 232 And? Random checks aren't new... They are new to some DTV holders who haven't lived here for long and who still think immigration can't do its job of protecting borders.
