For the first extension you need 400k seasoned in your thai bank acct for 2mths before u apply and for the subsequent extensions u can use the 40k/mth method.....u need to decide which is more important losing out on the 8-9% interest on the first year or paying 60k to a agent every year

It's not relevant as long as u show the letter to the immigration officer and get your 90days nonO stamp on your passport

I use Wise in 3 transaction the first(50kbaht) was just to test the system....if you transfer the money to wise before cut off time you will get same day deposit usually after 2pm (thai time) I did it with bkk bank......please remember that the 800k have to be seasoned for 2 mths before u apply for extension and u need letter and statement from bank to do that

Crooked visa agents? Foriegmers wants to beat the system and stay in thailand longer and needs their service ....demand and supply...there won't be any agents around if there's no crooked Foriegmers

800k basically allows u to apply for the initial 90days non O and need to be seasoned for 2mths before you apply for your one year extension and after your extension have been approved the 800k have to stay in the acct for 3mths and not lower than 400k throughout the year (conditions for one year extension) the immigration will need to see your 12mths statements when doing the second extension if you have planned these carefully u should try to bank in 65k every month once you get your first extension that means u will have 12mths of statements (including 400k) to do second extension
