There will be a 5hrs video watching (english sub) and a theory test in english and there will be a video(10 mins) showing the practical test before u take the test

Just curious there are so many countries around thailand where u can apply for visa and yet u choose a country that's having border tensions with thailand....Vietnam laos Malaysia singapore myanmar choose one for a short holiday while waiting for approval

1) medical and residency cert is valid for 6mths for driving licence

2)I already have thai licence and i still need to take the 1hr video traning for my renewals......appts is easy to make on the DLT website but will be 2-3weeks advance and yes u can do walkins but have to be there VERY early

Not only 7-11, I use it everywhere that accepts truemoney wallet.... restaurants , food courts and i bind it with debit card so that's no need to top up wallet

I have also bought a hospital insurance binding with the bkk atm card back in 2018 (tourist visa) it's only 599baht per year the annual interest earned is enough to cover....and I opened another 2 (kbank, SCB) which no insurance is required.....it's up to individuals to reject buying insurance...yes the bank staff always offer insurance but I reject politely saying next time

Yes agents can do 90days report on your behalf.....residency cert for driving licence check with your embassy and depends where you are is the embassy nearer or immigration office....I did mine at my embassy as I'm in bkk

why would I spend 5000baht on agent knowing I can open a acct for free with the correct documents.....I've open bank acct with just nonO and thai driving licence and noting else.....I'm just sharing my experience and totally understand that who created this group and comments are always swaying on one side......I do agreed with u that some bank staffs are incompetent but u can always jump to the next branch

Most of the time u need a lease agreement (6mths to 1yr) to convince the bank staff to let you open a bank acct....a hotel address is not convincing enough

they created this OR the foriegmers trying to beat the system? I've been there and was happy that I was able to open a acct back in 2018 with a tourist visa(no agent) changed my status immediately after covid and never have any problems all these years and I still think they are one of the best....maybe it's about 1% of foriegmers affected the rest of the 99% couldn't care less
