thankyou for that, you explained all that very well without it seeming too complicated. Think I need to copy and paste it into my notes for when I retire in a few years ๐๐๐ผ
this sounds like the best and less stressful option to me too. Iโm hoping to retire to Thailand but not for a few years yet (need to save) my question is after having a look at the Thai Embassy website London, one of the criteriaโs you need is proof of permanent address here (UK) with a utility, phone bill with your name and address on. I rent at the moment but may be lodging with a friend or family at that time so what would you do in those circumstances? Also do you have to actually go to the Embassy or can this be done on line? ๐๐ผ
Good post, good to get some idea of utility bills for when I finally move ๐๐ผ I was wondering how much do people generally pay for water/gas/electricity/ internet? I am from the UK, is there a payment like council tax to pay? Thankyou you lovely people ๐๐ผโฅ๏ธ oh also just had another thought, do you have to buy a tv licence?
