to the initiated and wise I totally agree. However after having to do the whole process myself for the first time after fifteen years of my visa being renewed by my employer, is I just showed up and paid the fee. It is and was confusing to receive my visa, 'valid until'and I thought I had received a three month visa. Not as kowledgable as yourself obviously. Tod put me to rights and I realised two days before my 'entry until' expired.
When I did my run to Penang there was a very industrious guy parked up just outside Consulate. Photos can be taken and printed on the spot. He makes an online booking in your name and passport number. Prints it off as proof of onward flight. Cancels it three days later. Same thing with hotel bookings. Charges a fee but very reasonable.
Genuine question. Thailand is Buddhist. Malaysia is Islamic. I doubt Thai immigration will be closed in country or on external borders with Cambodia or Laos. Also, you are rude and can't spell.
