Than bring copy of WP as in point 5.1 and not the WP application as mentioned in 5.2 and crossed by you on the form.

You are not allowed to work without a WP. Only the Non Immigrant B Visa or the Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage with Thai National allow you to work with a work permit. There are heavy fines for illegal working.

If you really need 1 year, tell the company to apply at local Immigration for an Extension of Stay based on working.

You only get 1 year Non B visa in Penang if you bring a Work Permit with minimum 8 months validity.

a Letter from the company stating that you are allowed to use these company papers to apply for a Non Immigrant B visa and that you will start working with the work permit after getting the visa in the position of your job. Letter addressed to Consulate Penang.

And you will need a document from the educcation department in the province that you teach. Don't be surprised if they request suddenly something new to add, this happened a month ago with me and I have been on a previous non B with the exact same dox. I will never use Penang immigration again to many bad stories and my own bad experience.

As I found out in August to my chagrin, you also need a Police clearance form from Thai police headquarters. Costs 100 B and takes 10 days.
