Hi all, I sent an email to TEV regarding te posibility of having two Thai visas at the same time (but only one active per entry in Thailand). Their reply was positive, however I also hear that this is not possible?

My husband, son, and I are US passport holders. We came to Thailand in March on a visa exempt. We received a 30 day extension from immigration. This extension ends May 10th. Just left the Thai Consulate in Vientiane. Applying for a non O based on raising a half Thai child. Been doing it for a couple of years. Was asked to show a bank book. First time ever. Didn't have one. ' Next time no bank book, no visa' were her curt parting words to me.

I was wondering, if I could make a new visa while I still have an old one, but my two-months stamp is expired?

My current visa is 13.02-13.05. I've entered the country on 01.03, so my stamp expires on 29.04. If I get a new one, it's just two weeks more. So, I thought, maybe I could skip it and fly to Ho Chi Minh for a new visa from the start of May. What do you folks think, is it possible like that?

I know it is often stated that there is no such thing as a retirement visa but here is the extension of stay they stamped into my passport today.
