Am I still covered under the amnesty if I received a visa extension in Thailand?

My husband, son, and I are US passport holders. We came to Thailand in March on a visa exempt. We received a 30 day extension from immigration. This extension ends May 10th. I want to ensure I am covered under the amnesty until July 31st, even though I was already granted one extension. Thank you for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on whether they are covered under the Thai amnesty program, as they received a 30-day visa extension that ends on May 10th. Community responses confirm that they are indeed covered until July 31st under the amnesty plan, despite having already received an extension. There's emphasis on the importance of staying updated on any changes regarding borders and immigration requirements.

You're all covered until 31 July.

Jeez, this has been done to death! Can’t people understand the fairly simple information given out by immigration?

There IS NO NEED to renew visa exemptions until 31 July or further notice!

Be patient, there are some that are quite concerned and don't want to make a mistake! It can be a scary situation even if answer is simple!

I am in the same boat. Do you have flights scheduled back? We are scheduled to fly June 22 on EVA. This was my 6th rescheduled flight from them

I am in BKK and fly on Eva back and forth to SFO. My flight has been canceled 3 times. All Eva BKK to US flights transit thru Taiwan. I am told by Eva that Taiwan prohibits all incoming international flights including transfers/transits thru at least May.

look into EVA Airlines. They have a local Bangkok Number. I usually fly Emirates but the last two flights have been with EVA and I have really enjoyed that airlines. Plus its a shorter trip for me....I fly into Houston

No, we had a flight with emirates back to the US that was cancelled. We had such a difficult time getting our money back from them, so we are waiting to purchase a flight until they become a little more reliable. I hope your June 22nd flight remains scheduled ❤️

You are totally covered on the amnesty plan until not longer than the 31st of July.

Don't think of this as a "free 3 month pass" because you need to pay attention to when the borders re-open and when the government announce what amnesty holders need to do at that time.

BUT

I can say with 100% accuracy you ARE indeed covered on this amnesty plan and do not need to go to the immigration office at this time
