If I have a condo but like to travel and stay in hotels do I need to have my landlord file a TM30 everytime I come back from staying in a a hotel if the checkout date is when my 180 stamp is up for my condo? Also if a hotel didn’t send in a TM30 and I already left is it better to leave the country and come back before 90 days to avoid the 90 day report?

If I haven't used my DTV to enter Thailand yet and only plan on staying a couple weeks, leaving and then returning for longer, do I still need to do the TM30 from my hotel on this first short visit? Or wait until I'm there for longer?

I asked my hotel for a TM30 so that I can go to immigration and get a TM47 / 90 day report, but all they gave me was a signed letter from the hotel manager stating that I have been staying at the hotel for a while etc.

Does that seem normal to everyone?

I was under the impression the TM30 was like an official form or something.

Are hotels different in that this letter will suffice?

Anyone know?

Cheers

Hello Everyone,

I have a question about staying in compliance with the TM 30

I Have about 6 months left on my extension.

non o based on retirement multiple entry.

I have been out of Thailand traveling for about 5 months now.

I ended the lease on a rental house the last time I was in Thailand and I am planning on living in a different province when I return in a few weeks.

Upon returning to Thailand I plan to stay one night at a hotel in Bangkok and then take a bus to another province where I will stay in a hotel until I can find a condo or apartment to rent as soon as possible.

Can the hotels report my stay to Immigration and print copy of the TM 30 for me to keep?

Is that all that is necessary until I rent a condo and the landlord files a TM 30 ?

Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.

Please help with suggestions on what I can do to get my TM30 from my hotel. I stayed 1 night at my hotel and ask them to prepare the TM30 form for me.In the morning the lady was not there to prepare the form so I told her I would come back. I called the hotel today and now the manager is saying she can't give me TM30 form because I only stay 1 night...what are my options I need the TM30 to renew tourist visa in Pattaya thankyou

Preparing for doing 90 day report in person in Hua Hin. This will be my second 90 day report. The first one was handled by the staff at the first hotel I stayed at and I didn't even need to go to the immigration office. For this second one, I have moved to another hotel and plan to stay here for a year. Other residents of this hotel are saying they just bring a copy of their lease agreement with them for 90 day reporting and no TM30 is required. Does this sound legit? I'm having trouble connecting with the hotel owner to get a copy of the TM30 receipt.
