Yet I'm not..read the news. "Dr." Manoon is already telling Thais to wear masks again whenever leaving their homes. I don't think you understand how easily Thais believe what they're told on TV and on social media. They revere doctors like God's and will do anything they're told to do.

I'm already noticing more masking and panic in the eyes of some. One jogger adjusted his mask as he saw me drive by today.

my family are thai, no need to tell me I dont understand. Advice isn't coercion. Getting vaccinated isn't scaremongering. It tends to be anti vaxers that are scared and then have tantrums.

In December of last year there were 2 incidents of Thai Covid Karens who had a meltdown because someone around them decided to live life normally without wearing a useless face diaper. They cursed out these intelligent people exercising their freedom to choose.

More recently I've heard of stories including one westerner who encountered a frightened old Thai man in an elevator who nearly had a heart attack because the foreigner wasn't wearing a mask.

I mean, this is mental illness.

Every other neighboring country has moved on. Time to tell Thais to stop believing their idiot boxes and those lying doctors who's only interest is to make more money selling vaccines and masks.
